Visit to Jeff Koons Studio

Is Being a Writer Different than Being an Artist?

Fabulous exclusive visit to Jeff Koons studio today with my art group from NYC.

So here’s a Wall Street guy who is following his passion and making art.

Three things that struck me from this visit.

1) He is literally recreating the wheel – applying a high tech (computer) process to replicate famous past artists, and applying his own spin (reaching out into space and time);

2) Stating that one (artist/writer) needs to value/appreciate self first before value/appreciate others;

3) Creating an incredible interplay between long dead / famous artists and his re-interpretation of his work (my thoughts, not his)

So in terms of writing, yes, it seems this process works!
